About Me
I’m a Fractional CMO with a passion for helping businesses grow through a combination of marketing strategy and execution.
Before stepping into the fractional world, I spent nearly a decade as the CMO of an direct-to-consumer online marketplace that I co-founded. Starting from scratch, I helped scale our business and celebrated a successful M&A exit. That experience ignited a love for the online customer journey, as well as the fast pace of the startup: big goals, quick decisions, and the challenge of building something meaningful.
Before that, I was the Marketing Director for a face-to-face sales-based wholesaling organization. As part of the leadership team, I led marketing strategy, created sales material, collaborated with the sales team, planned client appreciation events, and managed the company’s website, brand, and digital assets.
My career has been anything but typical, which is part of what makes my approach unique. I started as a graphic designer, dove into programming, database design, and website development during the early internet days, and eventually discovered a passion for marketing and customer experience.
My diverse background of design, development, marketing, and co-founding a startup gives me a unique perspective. I see the big picture and approach marketing through a holistic lens. I’m tech-savvy and creative, entrepreneurial, business-minded, both a servant and a leader.
On a personal note, I recently relocated to the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area of North Carolina after spending 23 years in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Let’s just say the winters here are a welcome change!
